Hi, I’m Mel. Glad you found me.

I’m an ex-corporate HR professional with over 30 years of experience running processes just like the one you’re going through now. If you’re considering getting in touch with me to guide you, you can learn a bit more about me here.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ME

Helping You Get Through This Process is My Purpose

After years of working in People, Culture, and Human Resources for some of Aotearoa’s bigger companies, and even running my own HR consultancy, I got tired of being on the other side of the table. I got tired of the unfairness, the power struggles, and the lack of manager and Human Resources training. I’ve decided after many years of working in this profession that the only part of it that gives me pleasure is helping people like you get through tough times at work. And with all that process knowledge burning a hole in my pocket, I decided it was time to do something about it.

I firmly believe that you deserve a fair process

After years of watching people at struggle through unfamiliar, unexpected, or unfair processes in their workplaces, there are three things I know…

I’m equipped with years and years of experience tackling HR processes at all levels of the organisation. I’ve also consulted independently for both employers and employees. Suffice to say, I’ve had a lot of practice at this, and can guide you through these processes with ease and calm.

You need someone who can listen and truly understand what you’re going through. I have spent my life training to do exactly that, and after my own experience with an unfair process early in my career, I know how important that support is.

No matter how good their intentions are, an HR professional’s first loyalty is to the company. That means you run the risk of being deprioritised or even treated outright unfairly in a process that should be about caring for you as an employee.

All that accounted for, I decided to bring my corporate HR experience to the table in my own way. Now, you can navigate and self-advocate during any process your workplace has initiated, all with the insight of an ex-corporate HR professional.

If you’re stuck in a process at work and you don’t know what to do, get in touch.

I’m here to make things clearer and calmer, while guiding you to a better outcome for your career and livelihood.
